2.-Review: present simple and present continuous

We use the present simple to describe general actions, events and states that are not temporary.

We use the present continuous to describe temporary activities that are in progress at the moment.

	Present simple	Present continuous
Affirmative	I write romantic poems. He likes classical music.	I’m writing a poem at the moment. He’s listening to music.
Negative	You don’t play the violin   She doesn´t like music	You aren´t playing at the moment. She isn´t listening to music
Question	Do they have coffee for breakfast? Does it rain a lot in winter?	Are they having coffee now? Is it raining now?
